Backing Up the Green Tea Healthy Habit

Its seems a though everybody has been on a green tea binge lately which is great because its a very healthy habit. I am so very excited about all the positive research about the benefits of green tea. More exciting news comes out everyday. Nonetheless, you need to also read more than just my review. After all, I’m just your nice local science-reporting cosmetics queen. (You didn’t know that was my official title, did you?) Instead, check out the peer-reviewed data available everywhere:

2001 International Journal of Cancer
Chronic gastritis and stomach cancer are just a couple diseases green tea can prevent. Scientists analyzed people for this study. Mice, fish and green tea were not studied together. They really used real people in China.

2003 International Journal of Cancer
Green tea is found to inhibit angiogenesis and certain forms of cancer. Cancer will not develop without the presence of angiogenesis in your cells. Which means that the healthy habit of green tea will actually help stop cancer in its tracks.

2006 Journal of American Medical Association
Carcinogenic deaths have really decreased due in part to green tea. This study showed that people who drank more green tea tended to have lower mortality rates due to cancer. In short, green tea is a really great cancer inhibitor.

2009 American Journal of Epidemiology
Blood and lymph cancers can be held at bay by green tea. A new study out of Japan showed that if you drink about 5 cups of green tea daily it can cut the probability of you developing any of these issues by 50 percent.

As you can see, green tea is one of the healthiest habits you can have. If you do not already have the habit, then start working on it right now.
