Lung Cancer Symptoms At A Glance

March 15, 2010 by admin

A lot of people don’t feel the symptoms of lung cancer, yet when they are detected with the disease. The diagnosis of lung cancer is frequently accidentally, which happens when the chest x-rayed for another purpose. Nevertheless, in general most people have symptoms. Generally, however, even when symptoms occur, they’re misdiagnosed as other respiratory diseases.

The following are things to watch for that could be symptoms of lung cancer:

• Persistent cough

• Coughing blood

• Dull Chest pain

• Shortness of breath

• A cough that suddenly develops and gets worse

• Breathless

• Huskiness

• Reoccurrence of respiratory illnesses

It is easy to see why these symptoms may just be brushed off as another respiratory illness. However, you have to be persistent, especially if you are experiencing more than one of these symptoms of lung cancer. You may wish to ask for specific tests, like x-rays, which are relatively easy to get and noninvasive.

A doctor will be more likely to grant that request then he would if you were asking for a more extensive test. Most of the time a doctor will be willing to consider your concerns and this may just be what you need to get the test that will allow you an early lung cancer diagnosis.

The other things to aware that are associated to causes of lung cancer consist of the following things are the effect of cancer cells in the body. These things happen as a result to the cancer presence and may be a sign of any type of cancer, not only lung cancer.

• Cancer exist in the liver, adrenal glands, brain or bones.

• Extra tissue under the fingernails

• New bone growth in the arms or legs

• Anemia

• Muscle weakness

• Skin rashes

• High calcium levels in the blood

• Low sodium levels in the blood

• degeneration of the brain

• Loss of weight

• Fatigue

It is not easy to diagnose any type of cancer, however with the puzzling lung cancer symptoms, it’s even more difficult to diagnose this cancer type. It’s extremely essential for someone who is at high risk of increasing lung cancer to be alert of the lung cancer symptoms.

Doctors can be hesitant to do any testing for cancer because of insurance limitations, so it is up to you to take matters into your hands and demand testing if you really feel it is necessary.

http://top-3-products.info/hbp-report/ – Read The High Blood Pressure Remedy Report NOW.

I found the report on prevention and control of Blood Pressure to be extraordinary as a lay primer for people of all ages. It is quite comprehensive and thorough, addressing completely not only the known medical facts concerning high blood pressure but also alternative means of prevention and control.

While presenting the alternative measures, the report is quite specific on educating the reader to discuss all aspects with his/her health care provider and not to abruptly cease any medicine or treatment protocol. The sections on prevention are quite well written.

If you are considering purchase of health such education materials for either yourself or your family, I thoroughly recommend the Barton publication on prevention and control of high blood pressure. to help others.

Did I Just Contract HIV? Symptoms of Primary HIV Infection

July 12, 2009 by admin

It’s sometimes possible to recognize when you’ve recently contracted HIV from signs and symptoms such as fever, rash, or swollen lymph nodes. This video will teach you how to recognize signs and symptoms of primary HIV infection that are experienced by between 40 and 90% of individuals after they are first infected with HIV. Primary HIV infection occurs during the first few weeks or months after a person first becomes infected with HIV. Symptoms include rash and/or fevers, possibly in combination with one or more of the following symptoms: malaise (which is a general feeling of weakness, discomfort, and fatigue), loss of appetite, weight loss, a sore throat, sores in the mouth, joint or muscle pain, swollen lymph nodes, diarrhea, fatigue, night sweats, nausea and vomiting, headache, or genital sores. The symptoms usually last from seven to ten days, and rarely more than two weeks. There is an incubation period of a few days to a few weeks between when the person was exposed to HIV and when the symptoms begin. If you have any of these symptoms and think there’s even the slightest chance you might have been exposed to HIV, such as through recent sexual activity or sharing a needle, even with someone who you believe is HIV negative, you should see a doctor and ask to be tested for HIV. When you go to the doctor with any of these symptoms, it’s very important to mention any risk factors you may have for HIV so they could test you. If you have ever had unprotected sex, even once, have used injection drugs, or think you might be experiencing primary HIV infection, make sure to tell your doctor. Signs and symptoms
==================

Hypertension is usually found incidentally – “case finding” –
by healthcare professionals during a routine checkup. The only test for hypertension is a blood pressure measurement. Hypertension in isolation usually produces no symptoms although
some people report headaches, fatigue, dizziness, blurred vision, facial flushing, transient insomnia or difficulty sleeping due to feeling hot or flushed, and tinnitus during beginning onset or prior to hypertention diagnosis.

Malignant hypertension (or accelerated hypertension) is distinct as a late phase in the condition, and may present with headaches, blurred vision and end-organ damage.

Hypertension is often confused with mental tension, stress and anxiety. While chronic anxiety and/or irritability is ociated with poor outcomes in people with hypertension, it alone does not cause it. Accelerated hypertension is ociated with somnolence, confusion, visual disturbances, and nausea and vomiting
(hypertensive encephalopathy).
